Golden Corral Leaders Honored at Women’s Foodservice Forum Conference
RALEIGH, N.C. (PRWEB) March 18, 2019 -- Two Golden Corral executives were honored by the Women’s Foodservice Forum (WFF) for their contributions to the food industry and advancing career opportunities for women in the field.
Golden Corral President and CEO Lance Trenary was named an Industry Titan for his commitment to prioritizing women’s advancement within the company and creating change that will increase opportunities for women across the industry.
Trenary was one of 35 forward-thinking CEOs from major foodservice brands who were recognized by the WFF. The honorees joined ranks to help implement WFF’s call for industry-wide gender equity solutions driven by CEO engagement that will enable the industry to win the war for talent, reap the proven rewards of gender-diversity and drive business growth.

Suzanna Wooten, Golden Corral’s Franchise Accountant and CPA, was selected by her organization as its Change Maker. Wooten and a rising group of women stars will participate in ongoing research surveys and focus groups for the WFF, tracking their career goals and trajectories. This will help WFF identify key factors that influence success early in a woman's career and provide participating companies with greater insight into how to most effectively support the development of young women leaders.

Trenary and Wooten were recognized for their contributions at a ceremony as part of WFF’s 30th Anniversary Celebration during the 2019 Annual Leadership Development Conference, March 10-13, in Dallas, Texas.
