Recently Golf Life Television and Executive Producer Mike Billingsley agreed to test the process of customizing golf wedges online through http://www.HopkinsGolf.com. According to Mike Billingsley of Golf Life TV, who tested the wedges, he wanted to learn how much customization could be accomplished and the level of detail provided to help the customer make educated choices. “In the opinion of Golf Life, hopkinsgolf.com really makes the steps of choosing the right bounce, shaft, grip, loft, lie and length very interactive and informative. We spent quite a bit of time customizing as we learned more,” Billingsley said.
The Hopkins custom wedge experience provides the customer the ability to choose from three custom grinds and select from 11 steel shafts and 4 graphite shafts. In addition, customers can select from dozens of grips with different color options and colored ferrules to match the look.
“We liked that we could choose the length of the wedge, and change the loft and lie for each wedge separately.
