US Sports Camps and Nike Golf Camps Team up with UConn's David Pezzino to Offer New Overnight Camp in Connecticut
San Rafael, CA (PRWEB) February 25, 2016 -- UConn Men’s Golf Coach, David Pezzino, directs the Nike Golf Camp with help from area pros and college players. Pezzino has a long history with Nike Golf Camps, dating back to his coaching days at University of Illinois, where he assisted Men’s Golf Coach, Mike Small, with his annual Nike Camps.
“Dave is a high character guy with a proven track record developing his players into successful student athletes,” states Jason West, senior vice president for Nike Golf Camps. “We’ve collaborated on several junior golf programs over the years and he always delivers a memorable and meaningful learning experience.”
The Nike Golf Camp in Connecticut is offered June 25-29. Campers reside on campus at the University of Connecticut and travel a short distance to Mohegan Sun Golf Club for instruction and course play each day. The program is coed and players of all abilities are welcome.
