Orlando, Florida (PRWEB) August 14, 2014

SimpleK12 (powered by InfoSource, Inc.) announces a free online event on Saturday, August 23, 2014 for teachers on how to effectively use Google tools and apps in the classroom.

SimpleK12 provides live webinar events on the most popular, relevant topics in the education sphere. Attendees of past events often remark about the useful tools and techniques that they learned during SimpleK12's last Google event. "Lots of good resources for Google Apps, presentations, sharing, and search tips," shares Juli Barquist, Technology Curriculum Specialist and viewer of SimpleK12's Google training.

The upcoming event includes presentations from five subject matter experts. Each expert covers a different aspect on how to use Google tools or apps for educational use. Tools for increasing productivity, effective searching, and improving communication will be featured, along with information on the most effective ways to get started with new Google tools.

SimpleK12's Google event consists of five back-to-back online webinars. While the event is specifically tailored for K-12 educators, registration is open to the general public.
