GottaPark, an online marketplace for parking reservations, today announced a new partnership with Travelport. GottaPark has joined the Travelport Developer Network and has developed a deep integration to Travelport’s three host reservation systems which will allow travel agents to book and prepay for parking on behalf of the traveler as easily as they book air, car, and hotel today. By integrating GottaPark into all of Travelport’s global distribution systems (GDS’s), Galileo, Apollo and Worldspan, 67,000 travel agency locations across the world can now easily add a parking reservation segment to any itinerary.

The benefit of this integration is that the Travel Agent can facilitate prepaid reservations for parking, which will lower the total cost of the trip and ensure convenient parking accommodations. For instance, GottaPark has reservable overnight parking around major hotels in downtown areas at rates less than 50% of onsite hotel parking rates. This can represent significant savings for businesses with large traveling work forces. The parking application can generate line items in the Itinerary and Invoice connecting back to an office accounting interface. The integration allows the Travel Management System to support the clients’ desire to control costs and allocate budgets.

On the newly integrated system, agents can add guaranteed parking reservations to any itinerary with just a few clicks. With parking options at 60 airports and thousands of other locations across the US and Canada, parking is a valuable segment that Travelport travel agents can now easily offer their customers.

GottaPark is also developing to the new leading agency desktop Travelport Smartpoint.
Through its website and mobile platforms, GottaPark already enables millions of drivers in major regions across the United States and Canada to compare and reserve parking based on price, amenities and distance to destination. GottaPark’s reservation platform also supports easy integration plug-ins to allow online services to offer their customers the convenience of guaranteed parking.
