Grand Solmar Timeshare and the Solmar Foundation Partner with the International Community Foundation
Cabo San Lucas, Mexico (PRWEB) April 28, 2014 -- Grand Solmar Timeshare, part of the Solmar Group Resorts that are located in Cabo San Lucas area, recently made an exciting announcement regarding the Solmar Foundation, its charitable division. The company announced that it has partnered with the International Community Foundation in order to establish what is known as the Solmar Foundation Fund.
The Solmar Foundation was established in 2011 as part of an effort to help those in need throughout the surrounding Los Cabos community. Since the foundation’s establishment, hotel guests have had the opportunity to reach out to the community in more ways than one. First, guests are given the opportunity to take part in in an event called the "Helping Hands Tour." This tour includes volunteering time and interacting with locals while serving breakfast at a shelter, spending time playing with children at a nearby orphanage and also brightening the days of the local senior citizens at a nearby nursing home.
Ricardo Orozco, the managing director of the resorts, said that this could not be possible without the help of the many loyal guests and their contributions. Grand Solmar Timeshare reveals that this exciting announcement also provides an advantage for these generous donors; the International Community Foundation now provides all the traditional advantages associated with a public charity, including U.S. tax benefits and the opportunity to have one's charitable wishes be followed after their lifetime.
Orozco also said that the company has always taken corporate social responsibility very seriously. Orozco hopes that this latest development will continue to enhance the Solmar Foundation’s efforts to provide support to those in need within the local community, something that has always been at the forefront of the company’s priorities.
