Vitou is co-chair of the firm’s Global White Collar Criminal Defence Practice and head of London’s White Collar Defence & Special Investigations Practice. He advises clients around the world on compliance, pre-investigations, investigations, and prosecutions conducted by numerous law enforcement agencies. Vitou frequently represents clients under investigation by U.K. and U.S. law enforcement agencies and prosecutors, and regularly appears on television and radio to discuss corruption, money laundering, and the UK Bribery Act.
Ottaway focuses her practice on white collar and economic crime and government and internal investigations. She advises clients on all aspects of investigations concerning fraud, bribery, and corruption, and provides counselling on implementing effective anti-fraud, bribery, and corruption compliance programs and related anti-money laundering issues. Ottaway is acclaimed for her work in defending corporate clients from fraud and bribery allegations. She served for 13 years as a prosecutor at the UK’s Serious Fraud Office (SFO), where she worked on some of the UK’s largest fraud and corruption investigations and prosecutions. Ottaway also served as specialist advisor to the House of Lords Select Committee on the Bribery Act 2010 which published the report of its findings on 14 March 2019.
