Greenberg Traurig’s Candee Wilde to Speak at Villanova Environmental Law Journal Symposium
PHILADELPHIA (PRWEB) February 07, 2019 -- Candee Wilde of global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP will be a panelist at the annual Villanova Environmental Law Journal Symposium, Feb. 8.
An alumna of Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law and former executive editor of its Environmental Law Journal, Wilde will speak on a panel titled “Contaminants of Emerging Concern” from 11:55 a.m. to 12:45 p.m.
This year’s symposium, titled “Strategies to Address Uncertainty and Transition in Environmental Law,” will focus on tactics representatives from private practice, government agencies, and nonprofit organizations use to manage regulatory uncertainty and transition for their clients. The program runs from 8 a.m. before concluding with Wilde’s panel and ending at 1 p.m.
Wilde, an associate in the firm’s Environmental Practice, counsels clients in environmental litigation matters, focusing primarily on statutory contribution and cost recovery actions under CERCLA. Additionally, she handles matters involving the evaluation and management of environmental risks in connection with the acquisition, development, financing, and sale of environmentally impacted real estate and assets. She advises developers and corporations on complex redevelopment projects and the management and mitigation of environmental risk through the use of unique contractual mechanisms and specialized environmental insurance products.
