Greenberg Traurig’s Renée A. Latour Named Among DCA Live’s Emerging Women Leaders in Law

Latour, shareholder in the Washington, D.C. office of global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP, has been named to DCA Live’s inaugural list of the top Emerging Women Leaders in Law (Private Practice). Latour is a leader in the Export Controls & Economic Sanctions group, which is part of the firm’s International Trade Practice. She focuses her practice on international trade regulation and compliance, with an emphasis U.S. export controls and economic sanctions administered by the departments of Commerce, State, and Treasury. She advises on international trade matters related to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations, the Export Administration Regulations, including anti-boycott regulations, and U.S. sanctions programs administered by the Office of Foreign Assets Control.
Latour also counsels on the Exon-Florio provisions of the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS). She regularly represents clients before CFIUS, including negotiation of mitigation measures and national security agreements, and in mitigating foreign ownership, control or influence (FOCI). In addition, Latour advises on the foreign direct investment reporting requirements of the Bureau of Economic Analysis, and other trade and investment-related regulations in the context of mergers and acquisitions.
