Author and church elder Gregory Wayne Edwards is a firm believer that many people have misconceptions and false information regarding God. In his new book, “Pure God: Finally, Answers to Your Questions!” (published by WestBow Press), Edwards aims to draw readers closer to Jesus Christ by clarifying common questions and misconceptions over the Bible and God.
Throughout “Pure God,” Edwards utilizes his 35 years of experience with scripture to examine and breakdown the word of the Bible into everyday language. Edwards believes that there are many pastors, Christians and non-Christians who have false information or the wrong idea regarding the Bible, God and Jesus Christ. With this book he hopes to clarify any misconceptions, as well as help non-Christians understand the foundation of Christianity.
“Pure God is more than a simple question-and-answer book,” Edwards says. “Appurtenant passages of Scripture, ensuing topics and true-to-life illustrations progressively unravel the mystery of God. Each chapter draws the reader closer to the Lord Jesus Christ. Readers experience God's irresistible love and discover what it means to be a Christian.”
An excerpt from “Pure God”:
“It seems improbable that God would bestow salvation on someone and simultaneously have foreknowledge that it would be temporary. What would be the point of that?"
