Private Kickoff Event for Art Exhibition Find Exclusive Sponsor in Arizona-Based Diamondback Drugs
San Antonio, TX (PRWEB) July 08, 2014 -- There will be a private kickoff event exclusively sponsored by Diamondback Drugs of Arizona on Saturday, July 12th at 7:30pm, to celebrate the opening of a new exhibition of fine art photography. South Texas Veterinary Ophthalmology (STVO) and South Texas Veterinary Specialists (STVS) host the 4-month photography exhibit called “Biodiversity,” beginning early July at The Greller Gallery inside the Veterinary Referral Emergency Center (VREC) located at 503 E. Sonterra Road.
The sponsored event will bring together local veterinarians, specialists, and animal lovers from all over the city in celebration of the San Antonio Zoo Centennial birthday.
“When Diamondback Drugs was approached to participate in the first Greller Gallery event, we were truly honored and excited. We share a common mission with STVO and STVS, which is to help people and their pets with affordable and quality specialty medical care,” says Jeff Swearingen, National Sales Director for Diamondback Drugs.
The first Greller Gallery exhibit is a 14-piece photography collection featuring deep sea, amphibian and reptile images of international animal conservationist and explorer, Danté Fenolio, MS, Ph.D.. Fenolio is a talented photographer as well a new San Antonio resident recently recruited by the San Antonio Zoo to run its Department of Conservation and Research. This initiative is the first Greller Gallery beneficiary during Fenolio’s 4-month exhibit starting in July.
“The San Antonio Zoo's Department of Conservation and Research have a special opportunity to develop a world class conservation facility,” explains Fenolio. “We are thankful to STVO and STVS for their support.”
Neither the exhibit nor the private event celebration could be possible without the financial support and sponsorship of Diamondback Drugs, a national pharmaceutical compounding company for the veterinary industry headquartered in Scottsdale, Arizona. Diamondback Drugs strives to be a key component in veterinary medical care and is the drug provider for STVO and STVS.
“All in all, this is a great opportunity for Diamondback Drugs to meet the people we serve, as well as to demonstrate our commitment to supporting the local veterinary community as they join together in recognition of the San Antonio Zoo and other San Antonio non-profits,” noted Swearingen.
The Greller Gallery is a new initiative for STVO and STVS with the mission to engage the public with art that highlights the beauty of our planet and its inhabitants. Furthermore, it is committed to local and national artists whose work strengthens non-profits dedicated to various animal and environmental causes.
The Greller Gallery is located on the second floor and free to the public to view during STVO hours, which is 8am to 5pm.
