Pearland, Texas (PRWEB) February 17, 2014 -- Many civilizations record myths and legends that explain the mystery of life. Rosaura, a middle-age Venezuelan, takes a trip to her home country in search for an old friend and to take a photograph of the statue of the mythical María Lionza, Queen of mountains, rivers and lakes. As she travels to the goddess’s sanctuary, Rosaura collects narratives which reveal not only the centuries-old clash between conquistadors, slaves, and natives, but also modern class and ethnic struggles, which give a glimpse of society’s division. The narratives regarding her origin intertwine with those of people seeking a change in fortune by visiting her sanctuary.
