Strack & Van Til Launches “Shopping For Stars” Sweepstakes

Strack & Van Til is launching a video contest on October 30th to find individuals and families to appear in its next marketing campaign. Entries for “Shopping For Stars” must be uploaded to You Tube and submitted via the grocer’s Facebook page by November 30, 2014 to qualify; complete details are at http://www.SVTeveryday.com.

“We are looking for real-life Strack & Van Til shoppers to star in our next advertising campaign,” said Jeff Strack, the company’s vice president of operations. “Individuals, families, couples—they are all eligible to win.”

Strack & Van Til, a Highland, Indiana-based grocer, is launching its “Shopping For Stars” contest on October 30, 2014. Each grand prize winner will appear in future Strack & Van Til marketing efforts plus receive a $250 store gift card.

“We are looking for real-life Strack & Van Til shoppers to star in our next advertising campaign,” said Jeff Strack, the company’s vice president of operations. “Individuals, families, couples—they are all eligible to win.”

To enter, each contestant must create a 60-second or shorter video showcasing what he or she finds most appealing about Strack & Van Til stores and upload it to You Tube. Then, they must submit the videos on Strack & Van Til’s Facebook page using the “Shopping For Stars” tab (Facebook.com/StrackandVanTil). A minimum of four videos will be selected, and their “actors” will be used in upcoming marketing efforts for the grocery store chain. The campaign may include elements such as in-store displays, billboards, television and radio commercials, print ads, and more.
