Grossmont Center is hosting a pet adoption event to increase adoptions from reputable shelters and rescue agencies in San Diego.

Fall in love with a forever friend at Cupids & Canines, a massive pet adoption event taking place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. February 16, 2019 at Grossmont Center.

The Center and the nonprofit San Diego Animal Support Foundation will bring together dozens of rescue groups and shelters that will have hundreds of adoptable dogs, from Chihuahuas to Great Pyrenees (and even some cats!).

“At Grossmont Center, we love playing matchmaker between pets and prospective owners,” says Trevor Moore, Grossmont Center’s director of public relations and events. “The goal with these mega-adoption events is to increase the number of adoptions from reputable agencies and shelters. We provide participating agencies with free booth space and create a happy, stress-free environment for dogs and humans to interact and get to know each other. We want to help these pets find the best possible homes.”

Admission to Cupids & Canines is free to the public. For more information, contact the San Diego Animal Support Foundation at, or (619) 847-8755.
