When Lisa Hudson became a Growth Coach franchisee in 2015, she was driven by a desire to make a difference in the community by helping local business leaders build strong businesses and more balanced lives. Now she’s excited to take passion to the next level in her new role as the President of The Growth Coach franchise.
The Growth Coach is the largest provider of affordable group coaching workshops in the nation. Hudson has a background in corporate leadership and launched her own Growth Coach franchise in Carmel, Indiana, in late 2015. Before that she was with Macy’s for 26 years in roles including Vice President Store Manager for 19 years. She worked with teams ranging from 60 employees to 450 employees and was charged with using strategic leadership and development skills to drive business results. In that role, she often found herself coaching, which inspired her to become a Growth Coach. As a Growth Coach, Hudson is certified in The Strategic Mindset coaching process, which adheres to the standards, practices and policies that the International Coaching Federation has set forth in their Code of Professional Standards and Ethics.
“I have thoroughly enjoyed my work as a Growth Coach and I see my new role as the President of the company as an extension of the work I was doing for my clients as a coach. I’m excited to use my experience to help our coaches and their clients leverage their strengths to build better, more balanced businesses and lives,” Hudson said.
Hudson, who is the first woman president of The Growth Coach, is excited about the diverse growth the brand has seen since she joined in 2015 and she’s looking forward to the future of the company. She’s also excited that her background as a Growth Coach franchisee will allow her to understand what Growth Coach clients need and how The Growth Coach’s corporate team can help make sure the franchisees have the programs and tools to meet those ever-changing needs and to be successful.
