AUSTIN, Texas, April 4, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Guayakí Yerba Mate, the leading U.S. provider of Yerba Mate, a naturally caffeinated plant with the strength of coffee, the health benefits of tea and the euphoria of chocolate, today announced Come to Life: Austin, a series of immersive artistic and music events in Austin, Texas aimed at celebrating the Austin community by supporting environmental and social work with a special emphasis on helping increase access to healthcare for local musicians in collaboration with the Health Alliance for Austin Musicians (HAAM).
"At Guayakí our vision holds that yerba mate culture will power our Market Driven Regeneration business model to regenerate ecosystems and create vibrant communities," said Guayakí co-founder David Karr. "Musicians and Artists are potent facilitators of regeneration and the goal of our Come to Life: Austin activation is to highlight resources which are available to creatives and also to draw more attention to the ongoing need for social support of these artists who are catalysts for positive change, both on the local community level and in the global community at large."
Guayakí supports a new model of regenerative business that reaches deep and wide across its supply chain to regenerate the life, health and future prosperity of the social and ecological systems that they touch. Guayakí Yerba Mate is one of the founding certified B Corporations, businesses that meet the highest standards of social and environmental performance, public transparency, and legal accountability to balance profit and purpose. B-corps are aiming to accelerate a global culture shift to redefine the success in business and build a more inclusive and sustainable economy. Business models that focus not only on profit, but the triple bottom line, are winning in the market and Austin is a ground zero for marketers seeking to build community-centric brands.
While the South American beverage brewed from the leaves of a tree has won the hearts of consumers for taste and health benefits, it's the culture of Yerba Mate that is driving loyalty and commitment, and Austin is one of those communities that understands that commitment. Austin is a unique community that demands brands come to them with honesty, integrity and a story that is both relevant and meaningful.
