It's the tale of conflict and a tale of humans simply searching for a way home.

In G V Chillingsworth's thrilling science fiction novel “Moonshaker,” scientists must rush to save Earth when the moon is shoved out of its orbit by a meteor strike.

In “Moonshaker,” protagonist Dr. Raul Western creates the Moonshaker satellite that can be used to correct the moon's orbit. However, when the satellite is used in space, sabotage causes it and its occupants to travel back in time 65 million years.

In a parallel story, 65 million years in the past, the inhabitants of an alien planet are attempting to colonize Earth before their home is destroyed. As the aliens approach Earth, the Moonshaker satellite sends out a massive shockwave, destroying the space station on the alien's home planet of Yendor. Seeing this is an act of aggression, the aliens set out to destroy the satellite and the humans who control it.

Can the human scientists, trapped in a different time period, save their world?

“In 'Moonshaker,' I show different perspectives of the same conflict in a way that neither side is really at fault,” Chillingsworth said. “Although “Moonshaker” has beings from another world, space exploration and time travel, it is not about evil alien overlords or poor persecuted humans. It's the tale of conflict and a tale of humans simply searching for a way home.”
