Radio star Ebony Steele and actress Vanessa Bell Calloway, both breast cancer survivors, partnered with Brock Beauty to host the Hairfinity Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign.

The main goal of this campaign is to encourage friends, family and others to get screened... Early detection can save lives!

Brock Beauty’s popular hair vitamin brand, Hairfinity® launched a social media campaign on October 7 to get 50,000 people to take a life-saving pledge. The focus is on spreading the word about the importance of getting early detection for breast cancer while providing information and resources for low-to-no cost screenings and services available.

The campaign is called the Hairfinity 50K Strong Breast Cancer Awareness Pledge, hosted on the Hairfinity Facebook page. Pledging is easy; simply like their page and sign the pledge with your name, email address and acknowledgement of the pledge.

The pledge ‘first responders’ will be campaign co-hosts Vanessa Bell Calloway (Showtime’s ‘Shameless’) and Ebony Steele (Co-host The Rickey Smiley Morning Show & Fox TV's Dish Nation), both celebrities and breast cancer survivors. They plan to promote Hairfinity’s pledge through their own social media pages, while sharing their powerful stories with Facebook fans and friends. Their videos, featured on Hairfinity’s Facebook and YouTube pages through October, both educate and inspire women to seek early detection for breast cancer and get screened.

Brock Beauty, Inc. President Tymeka Lawrence will be doing social media outreach throughout the month of October to promote the Hairfinity 50K Strong Breast Cancer Awareness Pledge as well. According to Tymeka, it is important to get personally involved and help spread the word about the importance of early detection and getting screenings.
