‘Hank the “Miracle Dog”’ by Dr. Amy Carpenter-Kabel Gets New Marketing Campaign
LANCASTER, Ohio (PRWEB) December 05, 2018 -- February 1, 2013, was the saddest day in Dr. Amy Carpenter-Kabel’s life. Since their school was cancelled for snow, she was home when her mom called and told her that her nephew, Hank, would not eat and was straining to go to the bathroom. She could hear the worry in her mom’s voice, which alarmed her. When Amy and her mom took Hank to the doctor he was diagnosed with cancer.
In “Hank the "Miracle Dog"” (published by Trafford Publishing), Carpenter-Kabel tells the true story of a dog that was diagnosed with sarcoma, a rare cancer of the connective tissue. Through the cancer diagnosis, Hank and his mom Amy learned to "stop and smell the roses" by enjoying every minute together.
“A lot of people have pets or have experienced a family member who has cancer,” Carpenter-Kabel points out. “This book covers a real subject: canine cancer. It helps raise awareness about this disease and teaches us what sarcoma is.”
Published in December of 2015, “Hank the Miracle Dog” shares the unmistakable bond and unconditional love between Hank and Amy as they battle his sarcoma together. For more details about the book, please visit https://www.amazon.com/Hank-Miracle-Dog-Dr-Carpenter-Kabel/dp/1490767754.
