All weekend long, The Chieftain will have live music events as we countdown to March 17. The celebration kicks off on Saturday, March 14 with the annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade. In the afternoon, enjoy traditional Irish music from Tony Becker from 1:30-4 p.m., Ivor Collins from 5-8 p.m. and Damir from 8 p.m. to late. We'll also be open bright and early at 7 a.m. for the 6 Nations Rugby Tournament. Ireland plays Wales at 7:30 a.m. and England plays Scotland at 10 a.m.
On Sunday, March 15, the celebration continues with the 8 a.m. Italy vs France game from the 6 Nations Rugby Tournament, and The Chieftain’s weekly Irish open session later on. Every Sunday, The Chieftain brings lovers of traditional Irish music together to enjoy classic Irish tunes and songs. The session will start at 6 p.m. and go until 9 p.m.
All of this will lead up to St. Patrick’s Day on Tuesday, March 17. Throughout the day, The Chieftain will bring pipers and drums to entertain guests and Ivor Collins will return to play live at 5 p.m. Celebrate the luck of the Irish all day with delicious Irish food, including the traditional corned beef and cabbage, drinks and entertainment.
