SAE Institute, one of America’s premier providers of creative media education, is the exclusive education sponsor for the Los Angeles HARD Summer Festival, which will be taking place on August 2 and 3 at the Whittier Narrows Recreation Area in South El Monte, CA.
“The HARD Summer Festival is one of Southern California’s most popular concerts, and we were eager to be on board,” says SAE Institute Los Angeles Campus Director Justin Pond. “SAE’s Audio Technology curriculum, which is available as Diploma or Associates Degree programs, provides hands on, real-world training in all of the production aspects of large-scale entertainment events such as the HARD Festival, so we’re looking forward to meeting Festival attendees who might be interested in having us help them to pursue such exciting career possibilities.”
The HARD Festival, now in its eighth year, will attract over 75,000 people per day. It will feature performances by over 100 top alternative, EDM, and emerging acts from around the world – including Jack U, A$AP Mob, Axwell, Flosstradamus, Tiesto, Disclosure, Nero, Dillon Francis, and many more.

Along with their on-premises participation at the actual event, SAE is also bringing their connection with the HARD Festival to the school’s Twitter (@SAELosAngeles), Instagram (@SAE_LosAngeles), and Facebook pages (facebook.com/SAELosAngeles) with contesting opportunities. Entrants are invited to post photos of themselves in an “outrageous outfit” and to tag SAE using #SAEGOESHARD for a chance to win a pair of tickets to the Festival. Those who already have tickets are invited to vie for VIP upgrades by also using the #SAEGOESHARD tag as well as tagging the name of the artist who they’re most excited to see at the Festival. Winning entries for each prize will be drawn randomly, and both contests end at midnight on 7/30.
