I always want to provide the most efficient and affordable service with the latest technology that is available to my constituents. I don't want Hardeman County to be left behind.

HARDEMAN COUNTY, Tenn. (PRWEB) March 28, 2014

Electronic recording (e-recording) of land documents is now available at the register of deeds office in Hardeman County, Tenn., through Simplifile, the nation’s largest e-recording service provider, enabling recording customers such as title companies, banks, and attorneys to record documents more quickly and efficiently online.

“I always want to provide the most efficient and affordable service with the latest technology that is available to my constituents. I don't want Hardeman County to be left behind,” said Hardeman County Register of Deeds Lily Barnes. “E-filing offers another opportunity for our customers to record in a timely manner at their convenience.”

Instead of having to rely on the mail, courier services, or driving to the courthouse to record documents, customers can now scan, upload, and submit documents directly from their computer using Simplifile’s web-based service, enabling the county to review, record, stamp, and return them back to the submitter in minutes.

Simplifile has been great to work with during the implementation process of this new service, and I can’t say enough about how well it has gone,” Barnes added.

In addition to the faster turnaround time and savings on mailing expenses, e-recording also helps to reduce the county’s carbon footprint, eliminate payment errors, and decrease the number of rejected documents.

“E-Recording has unquestionably become the standard for document recording in counties all over the nation, and we are excited to help bring this cost-effective recording capability to Hardeman County,” said Paul Clifford, president of Simplifile.

Hardeman County is the 19th county in Tennessee to implement e-recording with Simplifile and joins more than 1,050 recording jurisdictions coast to coast that make up Simplifile’s e-recording network.

Simplifile offers free training and 24/7 customer support for all e-recording users. For more information about e-recording in Hardeman County, call 800-460-5657 or visit simplifile.com.
