TAMPA, Fla., March 31, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Harmony Healthcare announces its partnership with Tampa educator and author Kevin Howard to promote his children's book series The Kooky Adventures of My Friend Kookabuk this April in recognition of National Autism Awareness Month. This series is a collection of social stories designed to entertain and educate all children. Each book acts as a guide to help individuals and families through some of the unique challenges autism presents.

As National Autism Awareness Month ramps up, the Autism Society of America emphasizes the importance of building better awareness of the signs and realities of autism. The month's focus is also about celebrating differences so communities can be more aware of and more inclusive of our neurodiverse population.

These images will provide valuable tips for children with autism as well as their parents on how to approach experiences such as sharing, referencing, using nice hands, and meeting new friends.
