World’s Largest Luxury Luggage Department Re-Launched At The World-Famous Harrods Store
London, UK (PRWEB UK) 8 October 2013 -- The newly refurbished travel goods store on the 2nd floor of Harrods in Knightsbridge is widely acknowledged as the largest & most luxurious luggage department in the world. It boasts a tantalising selection of over 40 different premium luggage brands – some of which are not available anywhere else in Europe – as well as the largest & most comprehensive TUMI shop-in-shop in the world.
As befits the largest travel goods department in the world, the choice of brands on offer here includes Burberry, Mulberry, Globe-Trotter, Moncrief & Paul Smith. The premium business case offer features Mont Blanc, DuPont & The Bridge.
In addition, this is the only TUMI shop in shop in the UK to offer an exclusive monogramming service on selected TUMI products, enabling customers to create their own set of truly personalised luggage.
Spread over a vast 11,200 sq ft area, the space is comprised of a series of wall displays and hexagonal clusters with a myriad of large screens featuring all the latest travel must-haves. Finished in a luxurious combination of white, bronze and silver materials, the result is a stylish contemporary design that showcases all the merchandise on display in the store to maximum effect from every possible angle.
Totally new and exclusive to the re-launched luggage department at Harrods is a dedicated deluxe area for showcasing world-exclusive and limited edition luggage items, in an array of exotics, pristine leathers and luxurious materials, sourced from the finest tanneries and fabric makers across the globe, including a crocodile golf bag, Ostrich pieces and Ferrari branded luggage.
Also exclusive to the UK & Europe in the new luggage department in Harrods is the famous Hartmann travel range from America. The distinctive Hartmann heritage offers a combination of stylish design & practical functionality for the finest quality luggage & leather goods for today’s discerning traveller.
Case’s partnership with Harrods began in 1997 with the opening of the world’s first TUMI luggage store within a store, the first such concession outside the USA. The relationship between Harrods and Case subsequently flourished and prospered, resulting with Case CEO Stephen Spitz being commissioned to take over, redesign and ultimately operate the entire luggage department as a going concern at Harrods a decade later in 2007.
Annalise Quest, Director Harrods Home said "The new and improved luggage department at Harrods offers an exceptional choice of luggage brands from the technical and innovative to the hand-crated with many ranges being exclusive to Harrods or available in luxury fabrications offering our customers a wide range of choice and a must shop destination for all their luggage and travel requirements."
Comments Case CEO Stephen Spitz: "For over 16 years Case has developed and maintained an excellent partnership with Harrods, culminating with the unveiling of this stunning new futuristic design for 2013 and beyond. The luggage department at Harrods represents the largest and most luxurious travel goods department in the world and here at Case, we are very proud to call it our own."
