SIG announces regional event at Aetna in Hartford, CT

Regional Roundtables provide a forum for our members to benchmark with their peers and share best practices.

SIG, the premier membership organization for sourcing, procurement and outsourcing executives, today announces a one-day Regional Roundtable to be held in Hartford, CT. The Regional Roundtable is a short one-day event that will take place from 9:00 am – 3:00 pm at Aetna. This buy-side event provides education and local networking for professionals from Fortune 500 and Global 1000 companies. A combination of practitioner presentations, facilitated roundtables and panel discussions, a SIG Regional Roundtable enables delegates to converse in a collegial, non-commercial environment.

The Hartford Regional Roundtable is rich in top-of-mind issues for sourcing and outsourcing professionals. Aetna, a Fortune 100 company will share their journey in developing an Outsourcing Center of Excellence. Specifically, they will discuss how to change the conversation around outsourcing to ensure the result companies seek.

The agenda will also include a presentation on how to achieve your most important goals by leveraging the expertise of others as well as a discussion on social media and how sourcing and outsourcing professionals can and should be using it in their daily work lives.
