Harvard Law School’s Program on Negotiation Launches Women and Career Negotiations Program and Complimentary Report
Cambridge, MA (PRWEB) February 10, 2014 -- The Program on Negotiation (PON) at Harvard Law School announces the launch of Women in Career Negotiations, a new, one-day program taking place June 19, 2014, at the Charles Hotel in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
In this dynamic one-day session, women will acquire a portfolio of effective at-the-table and away-from-the table negotiation tactics, as well as strategies for dealing with gender imbalances at an individual and organizational level. By taking part in interactive discussions and exercises, participants will develop strategies for capitalizing upon negotiation opportunities, expanding authority, and, ultimately, advocating for career rewards and opportunities.
This groundbreaking program comes on the heels of PON’s newest research compilation--FREE REPORT: Women and Negotiation: Negotiation Strategies for Women: Secrets to Success. The complimentary report offers fresh perspectives on closing the gender gap, eliminating double standards, and boosting women’s negotiating power.
“Negotiation skills are essential for career advancement,” says Gail Odeneal, PON’s Director of Marketing. “This targeted program and free report are designed to help women understand their strengths as negotiators and self-advocate for opportunities and career rewards.”
This landmark program is led by Professor Hannah Riley Bowles, Senior Lecturer at the Center for Public Leadership and Faculty Director of Women & Power at the Harvard Kennedy School. Professor Bowles is well known for her research on gender negotiations and the attainment of leadership positions.
Early registration is advised for Women and Career Negotiations as seating is limited.
