Health & Fitness Challenge, STEPtember, to Cure Most Common Childhood Physical Disability
Cerebral Palsy Alliance Research Foundation's STEPtember Event to Engage 400,000+ People September 4 - October 1, 2018
NEW YORK, Sept. 4, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Companies including UBS, Societe Generale, Deutsche, PWC, Bank of America, KPMG, Credit Suisse, Facebook, Amazon, AXA, and Crain Communications, are amongst those participating in a health and well-being challenge created by the Cerebral Palsy Alliance Research Foundation called STEPtember.
STEPtember challenges employees of participating companies from September 4 to October 1 to either take 10,000 steps per day or the steps equivalent of over 40 fitness activities (cycling, swimming, yoga, dance and cross fit etc.). Participating individuals can obtain sponsorships from their companies, colleagues, friends and family, to raise funds for the cause.

STEPtember is a turnkey program that is easy to set up and uses a customizable team model to engage companies' staff across the board. Teams of up to four people sign up on the STEPtember website https://www.steptember.us/ committing to the 10,000 steps per day or the steps equivalent of 40 fitness activities from September 4 to October 1. Participants track their steps on the STEPtember website or phone app, using a digital pedometer provided by the Cerebral Palsy Alliance Research Foundation.
