Osseo, MN (PRWEB) February 26, 2014
It can be hard to find high quality information about hearing loss and hearing aids in Osseo. It's very common to be swamped with promotional flyers and promotions for hearing aids in Osseo; particularly if you are over the age of sixty-five. Hearing Health Clinic hopes that the launch of their redesigned website will help reduce some of the frustration by offering a place local residents can go to learn about hearing problems, hearing tests, ringing in the ears and hearing aids at their own pace. The new website is 100% educational. It was designed to include answers to all the questions that audiologists are commonly asked. It also has a blog area where the Hearing Health Clinic audiologists can publish updates on hearing loss treatment breakthroughs, technological advances in hearing aids and other hearing healthcare news. The blog is also where they will post events where locals can come meet the audiologist and ask questions. The website is divided into sections as follows:
The website has an entire section devoted to explaining the many underlying causes of Hearing Loss. Visitors will learn about how the ear and auditory system work and which type of hearing impairment that results from complications in different areas.
The area on Hearing Aids offers visitors a complete overview of the advantages and disadvantages of various hearing aid styles. All the various acronyms used to describe hearing aid styles (such as BTE for behind-the-ear) and the lists of technical characteristics (such as directional microphones) can make it difficult and intimidating to shop for hearing aids. A little bit of independent research to understand the major options and vocabulary related to hearing aids really helps new patients ask better questions once they come in to see an audiologist. Last but not least there is information about the many hearing aid accessories ranging from batteries, to cleaning supplies to dehumidifiers.
The final main section of the website is the Services section where site visitors can obtain information about the major services offered at Hearing Health Clinic. The Services area is divided into 3 primary sub-sections covering Hearing Aid Fittings, Hearing Tests and Tinnitus Therapy.
Dr. Heidi Hill and the whole team at Hearing Health Clinic are extremely enthusiastic about the launch of the new website and the function it will serve in supplying high-quality hearing care information to Osseo residents. They invite suggestions and comments for enhancing the website to make it the best resource possible.
