Bethesda Heart Hospital Announces Heathy and Wise Physician Lecture Series
Boynton Beach, Florida (PRWEB) October 09, 2013 -- According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, heart disease is the leading cause of death for both men and women in the United States. About 600,000 people in the U.S. die from heart disease each year.
There are several causes of heart disease including lack of exercise, an unhealthy diet and smoking. Knowing how to manage one’s heart is key to reducing the individual risk for heart disease.
Beginning this fall, Bethesda Health’s cardiology and interventional cardiology team of experts will share the latest advancements in heart health and answer heart-related questions as part of Bethesda’s Healthy and Wise Physician Lecture Series. The lectures cover an array of cardiology-related topics including atrial fibrillation, cardiac arrhythmias and pulmonary hypertension. All lectures are approximately one hour and include a question and answer segment.
