Mecklenburg EMS Agency offers activities, tips, and classes to celebrate Heart Month

Medic, the Mecklenburg County EMS Agency, is offering up a full range of activities, tips, and classes to help love your heart and celebrate Heart Month during February.

With heart disease being the leading cause of death among both men and women in the U.S. and with every minute counting for Medic in responding to heart-related emergencies, Heart Month is something Medic strongly supports. Here is a list of ways to help you help your heart!

Weekly: Visit for instructional videos on CPR, healthy eating, & more.

Feb. 7: National Wear Red Day
Heart disease is the #1 killer of women in the U.S., so Wear Red & raise awareness. Then submit your best & most creative ways you wore red to our Facebook page by midnight for a chance to win great prizes!
