Heather Lockwood Joins myCNAjobs' Recruitment Squad to Grow Professional Caregiver Job Marketplace
Chicago, IL (PRWEB) September 11, 2013 -- myCNAjobs, the fastest growing professional caregiver recruitment vehicle for companies, is pleased to announce a new addition to the Recruitment Squad, Heather Lockwood. The Recruitment Squad is a nationwide team dedicated to driving qualified companions, certified nursing assistants, and home health aides into the first-ever, real-time professional marketplace, arming employers with a more efficient approach to hire talent. Employers access applicants via a cloud-based portal to engage with local caregiver job seekers, sourced from schools, churches, and over 40 job boards.
The digitally-savvy team unites talent supply with the macro demands of myCNAjobs' clients representing homecare agencies, nursing homes, assisted living communities, and hospitals.
“Heather is the perfect addition to our growing team and will help us drive quality caregivers into the marketplace through community engagement and partnership development,” says Kurtyka. “Her knowledge and passion for caregiving, combined with her genuine desire to connect employers to the right caregivers based on client fit, is just part of what makes her a valuable addition to our internal team.”
Heather was raised in Buffalo, New York, but is currently studying at Moody Bible Institute in the city of Chicago, and, until just recently, was unknowingly residing just a block from the myCNAjobs headquarters. Her journey of arriving at her new position is unique, in that she originally applied with myCNAjobs to be a caregiver in the city. Her past experience of caring for her elderly grandmother spurred her on to seek out employment as a caregiver. However, Heather was sought out by the internal team to join the Recruitment Squad when her application caught the eye of Chief Marketing Officer Brandi Kurtyka.
“I am excited and honored to partner with myCNAjobs in becoming part of the solution to a scarcity of first-rate caregivers available to employers today," comments Lockwood. "I will help our trusted clients tap into a large localized pool of talent to ultimately provide families with excellent care and kindness.”
