This man is burning to give his knowledge and experience to young people. The fine Henry is still as bright as it was in the summer of 1978. Unlike contemporary Kenyan track stars, Henry didn’t have a manager, a coach or sponsor.

Author Henry Rono brings back his inspiring first book “Olympic Dream” (published by AuthorHouse), which chronicles his personal experiences in his chosen sport – track and field.

How can one live in perfect ways despite obstacles? Published in 2007, this autobiography book revisits Rono’s life as an athlete. “I went through to many obstacles and appreciate life and appreciate what I have done.”

But Rono admits that becoming successful is not an easy feat. The author learned throughout the years from the many experiences he had to endure. Despite the setbacks, Rono’s hope to succeed did not vanish.

Rono provides a passage from this book:
This man is burning to give his knowledge and experience to young people. The fine Henry is still as bright as it was in the summer of 1978. Unlike contemporary Kenyan track stars, Henry didn’t have a manager, a coach or sponsor.

“What I want readers to take away from my writings is to learn to be honest with yourself.”
