The Heritage Shores Club is focusing on the importance of getting juniors excited about golf by partnering with Play Golf America’s player development programs, Take Your Daughter to the Course Week and Bring Your Kids to the Range Month this July.

Take Your Daughter to the Course Week is taking place July 8th through July 14th. The Heritage Shores Club is offering all junior girls, ages 18 and under, free green fees when accompanied by an adult all week long as well. In addition to complimentary green fees, the PGA Professional staff at Heritage Shores Club will conduct a free clinic to the junior female golfers on Tuesday, July 9th from 12pm to 1pm. This clinic will focus on basic techniques from full swing to short game with information on rules and etiquette. Registration is recommended for the clinic and can be reserved by calling 302.337.7514.

The month of July is also the official Bring Your Kids to the Range Month and Heritage Shores Club will be supporting this initiative by offering complimentary junior range balls with the purchase of a regular bag of range balls all month long. The driving range at Heritage Shores Club is the perfect place to practice featuring over two acres of open ground equipped with grass tee stations, three putting greens including bunkers and chipping areas and grass-like driving range mats.

“As the popularity of the game grows amongst the younger generations, we feel it is important to make golf more accessible through offering special pricing and programs geared directly towards our junior golfers,” says Jason Feller, General Manager at Heritage Shores Club, “Events like these are a great way to expose new golfers to the game and encourage family involvement.”

In addition to these programs, the Heritage Shores Club also offers Junior Summer Golf Camps throughout the summer for junior golfers ages 7 to 17 on July 11th and 12th and August 8th and 9th. These two-day Camps provide instruction, contests and lunch daily for $130 per junior.
