The Hermitage Club announced today that on February 15, 2015, the cost of joining the exclusive private ski club and four season resort will increase by $10,000 to $75,000. The Hermitage Club is a unique undertaking for the northeast US ski scene. “The idea was to purchase and then completely overhaul the long closed Haystack Mountain ski area in the Deerfield Valley of Southern Vermont, and transform it into an exclusive, state-of-the-art private club,” commented Dale Ribaudo, senior vice president of the Hermitage Club.” Now into its fourth season of operations, Club has sold over 500 memberships and allocated 600 memberships for future real estate owners. With a membership ceiling of 1500 families, the Club has only 400 memberships remaining.

The Hermitage Club has provided a major economic windfall for the southern Vermont towns of Wilmington and West Dover, investing $94 Million in new real estate construction and infrastructure development. Additionally, the scope of this luxurious real estate development project (the largest in the state of Vermont) has attracted out of state investors into the local communities helping to further strengthen the local economy.
