Georgia Leaders Announce Hero2Hero, Invite America's Help in Reducing Radical Islamic Terrorism
Valdosta, Georgia (PRWEB) August 18, 2016 -- The Mailbox Club and ROI Ministry, have formed Hero2Hero, a volunteer group focused on helping children and mothers trapped in areas consumed by terrorism.
"Hero2Hero specialists help mothers and children realize that radicalism, jihad and intolerance leads only to a life of misery, and nothing more," stated Rob Cunningham, a Hero2Hero spokesman. "Each time a child's heart is changed, a potential convert to terrorism ceases to exist. And as a result, both America and the world becomes a safer place to live," Cunningham added.
Leaders of the Hero2Hero initiative include John Mark Eager, a professional civil engineer and CEO of The Mailbox Club, a non-profit organization that serves people in 70 to 80 nations. Eager's partner is Tim Barker, a program director for Fortune 500 projects and President of ROI Ministry, a research group that ranks the world's top ten 501(c)3 groups based on their global impact and cost effectiveness.
Mr. Eager emphasized, "By addressing the heart issues first and foremost, we believe the positive, long-term impact of our strategy will be much greater than any plans the military might develop." According to Tim Barker, his researchers evaluated the Hero2Hero strategy and found it to be unlike anything else being undertaken. Barker elaborated, “Hero2Hero is succeeding in areas where global terrorism originates and terrorists thrive. And with Hero2Hero, every American can be a part of this solution.”
Based on extensive research and due diligence conducted by Calvin Edwards and Company, a philanthropic advisory firm, and other factors evaluated by the executive leadership team at ROI Ministry, The Mailbox Club is ranked one of the Top 10 most impactful and efficient 501(c)3 organizations in the world. Eager added, “After all travel, training, equipment and production expenses are considered, our average cost to reach one at-risk child is less than two dollars.”
"Hero2Hero offers a real solution to help millions of innocent children avoid being recruited by Islamic fundamentalists. And for every child we save from a life of terrorism, others will surely be saved,” Barker said.
The Hero2Hero founders hope to raise public awareness, recruit volunteers and raise one million dollars before the end of 2016. They seek to inspire, engage, organize and activate concerned citizens, parents, business owners, private foundations and other groups interested in rescuing the innocent and reducing terrorism in America.
The Hero2Hero campaign received more than $110,000 in private donations during its’ first month in existence. Their goal is to impact over half a million children when their initial fundraising goal is achieved.
