“I would absolutely recommend corporations consider adding StartOrganic to their suite of wellness programs,” said Allison Stark, Manager, Global Wellness for Hewlett Packard Enterprise.
SAN JOSE, Calif. (PRWEB) February 10, 2021
StartOrganic, the leading provider of corporate wellness through organic vegetable gardening programs, announced today that Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) has implemented its online employee gardening program. Initially launched by HPE in October 2020, the online corporate wellness and sustainability program is designed to help reduce employees’ stress levels, while improving productivity and physical health by teaching people how to rely more on themselves and less on the grocery store by growing their own organic vegetables. The StartOrganic team manages all development aspects for the online course content for HPE from consulting services, recorded topic-specific courses, and three live webinars, twice per month, in three different time zones to accommodate a global audience. The program is offered to all HPE global employees, including those located in North and South America, Europe, Middle East, Africa, Asia Pacific, Japan, India, Southeast Asia and Australia.
“I would absolutely recommend corporations consider adding StartOrganic to their suite of wellness programs,” said Allison Stark, Manager, Global Wellness for Hewlett Packard Enterprise. “It has been an exciting addition to HPE’s wellness program. StartOrganic provides a fresh approach to supporting the mental health needs of employees, especially since we had to consider new ways to engage team members due to the pandemic. Everyone looks forward to starting their gardens, engaging with their families in the process, connecting with other team members in new ways, and are able to literally see the fruits of their labor. The StartOrganic team has been creative and flexible, developing a program that serves our diverse global team, and keeps them continually engaged by interacting with attendees on a personal level. This program goes beyond the traditional webinar training session to provide individualized support that allows all involved to feel accomplishment and success.”
StartOrganic’s online courses support a diverse group of gardeners, from beginners to experts. Team members have reported positive feedback, making progress on their own gardening goals, while also connecting with other team members who share a passion for gardening. To date, more than 400 employees have joined StartOrganic’s “How to Start Your Successful Garden” online course with an average of one new employee joining per day. The program helps HPE employees develop the skills needed to grow a successful home garden of any size – from a small area with containers on a patio balcony to a larger sustainable garden space in a backyard. The positive effects of gardening are supported by numerous scientific papers showing it reduces depression and anxiety while providing multiple emotional, social, vocational, physical and spiritual benefits.
