Hildur Bjarnadottir Announces Release of ‘The Triplets’
Reykjavík, Iceland (PRWEB) November 05, 2013 -- In “The Triplets” (published by Trafford Publishing), author Hildur Bjarnadottir’s new juvenile fiction tale, readers follow the lives of three sisters, Sara, Marie and Jenn, as they intertwine with the world around them.
Beautifully illustrated with wondrous pictures and eye catching colors, “The Triplets” draws readers into a tale about how three sisters, though different, must band together and help each other conquer their fear and achieve their dreams. The story looks most noticeably at Jenn and her battle with cerebral palsy. Readers watch as she faces more problems than her sisters and is much more restricted in the things that she can do and experience. But, as they follow her to physical therapy, school and throughout her life, readers will learn that anything is possible as long as you have a desire, a dream and a loving family.
An excerpt from the book:
“Sara was the first born of the three. She is a dark haired girl with freckles and she loves hockey. She is also very good in math. Marie was the smallest born of the three. She has blonde hair, blue eyes and she loves ballet. She reads a lot and collects books. Jenn is the tallest of the three. She has brown hair and green eyes. She loves to listen to music and she loves sweets.”
Based on the life of a trio of sisters who live in Minnesota, Bjarnadottir hopes to shine a light on the lives of children with disabilities. “My book offers readers a chance to understand some of the challenges that face someone with cerebral palsy,” she says.
