Whatever is stressing you out, you’ll get some coping tips and humor to get through it.
Palmer, Alaska (PRWEB) May 08, 2014
Hillary Saffran was a guilt-ridden parent and recent empty-nester when she began writing her new book, “Laughing in the Rain: Self-Care for the Storms of Life” (published by Balboa Press). It was through the use of humor and writing that she came to realize life’s problems can be made a little better with a smile.
“Laughing in the Rain” is comprised of 15 witty and entertaining chapters with accompanying photographs, drawings and quotes to inspire laughter. The book also features 50 stress-busting tips for healthy living.
Although her book aims to help readers cope with stressors, Saffran says her book is about much more than that. Its chapters have something for everyone to connect to, she relates, including snippets on family life, job angst, health, relationships, aging, pregnancy and even challenges with climate and weather.
“Whatever is stressing you out, you’ll get some coping tips and humor to get through it,” Saffran says.
