USAMM Releasing New, Quirky YouTube Channel: Histury Unhitched
Milwaukie, Ore. (PRWEB) November 26, 2013 -- Local military uniform superstore, USAMM LLC, is launching its latest YouTube channel, "Histury Unhitched", here, today, utilizing short online videos to focus on highly decorated American service members throughout history.
The videos – highlighting military figures such as Admiral Eugene Fluckey, Colonel Jack Treadwell, Audie Murphy and others – run an average of one minute-long, while detailing the recipients of U.S. military medals like the Medal of Honor and the Navy Cross.
“The concept behind this series is really about offering our gratitude to American service members across the world,” said Jared Zabaldo, USAMM, LLC President of Business Operations.
“But it’s not just about saying ‘thank you’ either,” said Zabaldo, before adding, “Because these folks deserve recognition in any way we can provide it.”
Utilizing illustrations, photographs and entries from USAMM’s popular blog, "Histury Unhitched" is currently scheduled to run at least every two weeks.
“These shorts are pretty cool. They provide a slice of history in a fun and engaging way without sacrificing our respect for what actually went on,” said Zabaldo.
The channel is live and may be viewed here: http://www.youtube.com/USAMILITARYMEDALS.
