In recognition of National Outdoor Lighting Month, a consumer awareness effort the company launched in October 2013, Outdoor Lighting Perspectives, North America’s largest full-service outdoor lighting company is providing consumers a complimentary guide to holiday, festive and special event lighting.
The free guide can be found on the company’s website at http://www.OutdoorLights.com and provides both residential and business consumers with trends the company is seeing in holiday and special event lighting and helpful planning tips. The guide also includes insights from the professional outdoor lighting industry on LED technology and how it is influencing holiday and special event lighting product selection.
“Our lighting designers are getting more requests every day for help with special event and holiday outdoor lighting”, said Rich Young, Vice President of Outdoor Lighting Perspectives. “Our National Outdoor Lighting Month campaign presents us with the perfect opportunity to share this helpful information with all consumers.”
National Outdoor Lighting Month was founded as an annual consumer awareness effort to educate homeowners about the safety, security and lifestyle enhancements outdoor lighting can bring to their homes. October was intentionally selected as the month for the annual campaign with the pending onset of Daylight Savings time bringing extended evening hours. The campaign provides an educational guide on a different topic each year related to the professional outdoor lighting industry.
“The darkness everyone experiences as a result of Daylight Savings time still comes as a surprise to people each year. This gives us the opportunity to help people see the importance and benefit outdoor lighting can make to the quality, safety and enjoyment of their homes at a time it is most relevant to them,” explained Mr. Young.
The free guide to Holiday, Festive and Special Event Lighting can be found on the Outdoor Lighting Perspectives website at http://www.OutdoorLights.com/National-Outdoor-Lighting-Month and across all Outdoor Lighting Perspectives local sites through the month of October.
