Four Generations of Reliability

It’s exciting to know we can fix these houses, make them healthy and more efficient and by doing so, the customer has a one time investment but receives a payback in multiple ways.

Milford, CT (PRWEB) April 25, 2014

Climate Partners, a Milford, CT heating and cooling company, has been in business since the early 1900s, when it was known as Casey Fuel. Today, the company employs highly skilled climate technicians who are trained to design a healthy and comfortable home environment that leads to home energy savings.

For years, Climate Partners has recognized a connection between the condition of a home or office building and the health of the occupants. Allergies and other health problems can sometimes be traced to deficiencies in the structure or its energy systems.

Climate Partners’ innovative approach takes all structures and systems into consideration before making recommendations to the customer. Rather than think only about improvements from an energy and cost perspective, Climate Partners looks at the entire building, including heating and cooling systems, water heating, the roof, basement, ductwork, insulation and the structure itself. When all necessary improvements are made, the customer’s utility bills typically decrease, due to home energy savings.

In early 2014, Climate Partners serviced the home of a family that was experiencing health issues, specifically allergies and respiratory concerns, as well as unusually high utility bills. Climate Partners’ technicians identified the underlying causes and recommended a comprehensive, effective solution. Whole home improvements included converting from oil to gas, and replacing old ducts and insulation that were causing much of the problem. The upgrade resulted in home energy savings and lower utility bills. The house is more valuable and more durable from a construction standpoint, and the family has a healthy home.

“If you go to the doctor to be cured of your allergies but instead just walk away with a bunch of prescriptions for medication, the symptoms may go away but the problem is still there. Once you stop taking the medication, you’re still sick. The same goes with home improvements,” explains Tom Casey, owner of Climate Partners. “If you install an air filtration system but have old dirty ducts and insulation, the problem is only masked but is ultimately still present. Spending money to buy quick solutions only aggravates the problem and never actually uncovers the underlying issue. It’s exciting to know we can fix these houses, make them healthy and more efficient and by doing so, the customer has a one time investment but receives a payback in multiple ways.”

Climate Partners makes recommendations on systems they service, as well as those that they don’t, so the client has a complete plan of action to improve the health of the home and bring about home energy savings. The goals are: home energy savings, decreased energy bills, more durable, long-lasting house and systems, and a comfortable, happier home.
