The Carballo Agency Joins Family Promise of Bergen County in Charity Drive to Assist Homeless Families in the North Jersey Area
Park Ridge, NJ (PRWEB) March 22, 2017 -- The Carballo Agency, a comprehensive insurance and financial planning firm that serves communities throughout north Jersey and the New York metropolitan region, is embarking on a cooperative charity drive with Family Promise of Bergen County to provide regional support for homeless families.
At present, more than two and a half million children in the United States are homeless, due largely to widening gaps between family incomes and housing costs. Family Promise of Bergen County is the only nonprofit in Bergen County committed to offering emergency shelter and critical support for families that are recently homeless due to financial difficulties.
“Half of the people that the Family Promise organization serves in our community are children, and one of our goals during this charity drive is to help fund the “Camp-Lots-Of-Fun” program for children in our area,” says Yasiria Carballo, founder and chief executive of the Carballo Agency.
