Riverside Insurance Resources Joins Huntington City Mission in Charity Drive to Benefit Homeless and Underprivileged Residents of West Virginia
Chesapeake, OH (PRWEB) March 22, 2016 -- Riverside Insurance Resources, an Ohio-based insurance firm that provides coverage to hundreds of families and small businesses in the Chesapeake region, is teaming up with West Virginia-based Huntington City Mission in a charity effort that will benefit local homeless and underprivileged residents.
Huntington City Mission non-profit, non-denominational faith-based charity dedicated to meeting the physical, emotional, social, and spiritual needs of those in need. Offering underprivileged families and individuals a warm meal and a safe place to sleep, the Huntington City Mission has been offering assistance to the community for nearly 75 years.
“Huntington City Mission has been working with those in need for generations, and their good work has earned the support of everyone in our community,” says Hollie Henry, director of Riverside Insurance Resources.
Reaching out to families and businesses throughout Ohio, Henry and her team are constructing an online social media page and sending out an email bulletin to raise awareness of the charity drive. As well, Riverside Insurance Resources will feature the charity event in the upcoming issue of “Our Hometown,” an Internet magazine produced monthly by the firm.
The Huntington City Mission charity drive is only the first of many planned by Riverside Insurance Resources. As part of an ongoing community involvement effort, the Riverside team will be selecting and working with another new charity in the area every sixty days.
