Indianapolis-based Hoosier Security Announces New Headquarters and Job Growth
Indianapolis, IN (PRWEB) November 08, 2016 -- Hoosier Security is proud to be one of the many businesses bringing innovation to downtown Indianapolis and they hope to bring more jobs. The expansion lays the ground work for planned regional expansion and the hiring of 15 local, skilled, full-time positions over the next three years.
Hoosier Security opened its new headquarters in the Circle City Industrial Complex (CCIC) in October. The company’s move is a welcome addition to the Indianapolis Mass Ave Industrial Corridor, a section of the CCIC where art and science come together.
The CCIC launched their major redevelopment initiative in 2015. Now tenants include diverse businesses, large industrial users, and artists. Hoosier Security owner Armando Perez saw the development’s potential right away.
“Even though we’re not artists or manufacturers, we appreciate the elevation of craftsmanship to an art form,” said Perez. “And a lot of our value is in design and customization.”
In an industry where so much is dominated by “Made in China” products, customization is key for Hoosier Security. The company’s new systems design lab allows clients to assist in the creation of their custom security systems with 3D designers. The use of virtual site renderings puts problem-solving at the forefront of every project. This setup is the first of its kind for the security industry.
A separate build room is where the custom assembling, programming, and testing of client security systems will take place. The space is equipped to program up to 250 cameras simultaneously, as well as six alarm systems and a dozen access control door controllers.
“People can talk about what they need, but until you actually see how it works and what the compromises are, you can’t appreciate what it really means to you as the end user,” said Perez about their design process.
Teagen Development Inc. President, Larry Jones, is also very excited about the addition of Hoosier Security to the area.
“We are so pleased that Hoosier Security will continue their tenancy at the Circle City Industrial Complex,” said Mr. Jones. “Their expansion is a great example of the ongoing redevelopment and revitalization efforts within the CCIC and throughout the Mass Ave Industrial Corridor, bringing local businesses and job opportunities back to the Near Eastside.”
