The race will begin at 55 Water St. in historic downtown Manhattan. In keeping with tradition of all Run For The Warriors®, this event will begin with an opening ceremony and a singing of the National Anthem. The opening ceremony honors local wounded heroes and families of the fallen. It provides a time to remember those who have given of themselves in the line of duty. Additionally, it serves as a time for the service members who participate to receive just a small piece of gratitude that is unequivocally shared by a nation indebted to their service.
