Hope For The Warriors Leads Home Renovation in Brick, NJ to Benefit Local Iraq Veteran
Brick, NJ (PRWEB) September 12, 2013 -- Hope For The Warriors® (http://www.hopeforthewarriors.org) will be joined by corporate leaders, nonprofit organizations and elected officials at the groundbreaking of a home in Brick, New Jersey at 10 a.m. on Saturday, September 14, 2013. The ground breaking will take place at the future home of an Iraq War hero and 9/11 First Responder: 294 Sky Manor Blvd., Brick, NJ 08723. The home will be renovated and donated to Chief Petty Officer Colin Redy, USCG (Ret.) and his family. Hope For The Warriors® is a national nonprofit organization that assists post-9/11 service members, their families, and families of the fallen who have sustained physical and psychological wounds in the line of duty.
Attending the ground breaking will be representatives the many corporations and nonprofit organizations that have made this home renovation possible. They will be joined by members of the community including corporate and elected leaders. Hope For The Warriors® thanks BCB Community Bank, Highland Associates, Plaza Construction, Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation, Heart 9/11, and The Brooklyn Breakfast Club.

BCB Community Bank approached Hope For The Warriors® to identify a military family that would benefit from a mortgage-free home. Hope For The Warriors® assists wounded service members and veterans from all military branches across the country. Through their work with military families and their relationships with VA Hospitals and caseworkers, they identified a wounded service member and family in the area.
The needs of the family were reviewed and it was determined that the home required renovations to suit this family of six. To complete this project, support has also been given by Highland Associates, Plaza Construction, Heart 9/11 with help from Laborers Local 79 - New York City, Network Contracting, Deutsch Electric, Allied Trade Contracting, McKenna Construction and Eastern Shore Mechanical.
The home renovation is part of Hope For The Warriors® A Warrior’s Wish® program. A Warrior’s Wish® supports the long-term goal of hope beyond recovery. Knowing that Wishes can come true directly affects service members’ spirits in addition to the families and communities that support them. Hope For The Warriors® is proud to grant this Wish and work with the Brick, New Jersey community.
