SunStone Consulting Donates to Hope for the Warriors in Lieu of Holiday Cards and Gifts
Harrisburg, PA (PRWEB) January 17, 2014 -- For this holiday season, SunStone Consulting, a company headquartered in Harrisburg, PA, focused on charitable giving in lieu of gifts and cards. After soliciting recommendations from their team members, the company donated $5,000 to Hope For The Warriors®, a national nonprofit organization that assists post-9/11 service members, their families, and families of the fallen who have sustained physical and psychological wounds in the line of duty.
In a letter to their clients, SunStone’s managing principal, Gregory St. Clair, Sr., shared, “It is because of our military personnel that we enjoy our many freedoms and opportunities every day. SunStone has provided a $5,000 donation with all of your names as a way of saying thank you for being our client, and a thank you to our service men and women.”
Hope For The Warriors® was recommended by Georgia Rackley, a Senior Clinical Specialist for the company. Rackley’s son has served in multiple combat deployments. To date, Rackley has run eight marathons, the last three were the Marine Corps Marathon as part of Team Hope For The Warriors® (http://www.teamhopeforthewarriors.org).
“Hope For The Warriors® was so honored to hear about this donation from both SunStone Consulting and from Georgia herself,” Robin Kelleher, Hope For The Warriors® President said. “Georgia’s personal story of a mother supporting her son is what truly makes our military strong. “
