Hope For The Warriors Announces New Members to Advisory Council
Boston, MA (PRWEB) October 19, 2013 -- Hope For The Warriors® is pleased to announce Tom Lyons, Director of Community Services Department at MassHousing Agency, as the latest addition to their Advisory Council. Lyons is a longtime supporter of Hope For The Warriors® and advocate of veterans. Hope For The Warriors® is a national nonprofit organization that assists post-9/11 service members, their families, and families of the fallen who have sustained physical and psychological wounds in the line of duty.
In 2011, Lyons was the recipient of the “Marine For Life” Award presented by General James Amos, Commandant of the Marine Corps for his 30 years of advocacy on behalf of our nations Veterans. Lyons also founded the Semper Fidelis Society of Boston, a Marine Corps organization that has grown from 28 members to more than 2,300.
