Hope For The Warriors Announces 2014 Wish Recipients
Washington, DC (PRWEB) March 21, 2014 -- Hope For The Warriors® fulfills long-standing Wishes for 12 service members nationwide through its A Warrior’s Wish® Program. This year, Hope For The Warriors® has invested $75,000 to support service members, veterans and military families. Granting Wishes and fulfilling dreams for service members and their families, A Warrior’s Wish® was the organization’s first program.
The nature of these Wishes varies in scope from business, fitness, financial, and outdoor-related. The enrichment process continues long after the Wish is granted to promote stability within the lives of these heroes and their families. For example, Individuals interested in creating businesses are connected with a mentor to ensure that a business plan is created and implemented successfully.
Both service members and spouses turn to Hope For the Warriors® and the A Warrior’s Wish® Program to fulfill goals of assimilating to their new lives. For these individuals and their families, once again enjoying prior lifestyles and activities is very much a part of their restoration process, and Hope For The Warriors® recognizes this importance. Hope For The Warriors® is proud to grant these Wishes to service members moving forward on their road to recovery.
“Hope For The Warriors® approaches the Wish program with a holistic approach, addressing the physical, emotionally, and financial needs and goals of the entire family,” Robin Kelleher, Hope For The Warriors® president said. “We are proud to restore hope by granting these Wishes to those who have served and sacrificed.”
A Warrior’s Wish® supports the long-term goal of hope beyond recovery through financial grants. These Wishes fulfill a desire for a better quality of life or support a quest for life-gratifying endeavors. Knowing that Wishes can come true directly affects service members’ spirits in addition to the families and communities that support them. Whether realizing a dream to sail, ride a bike again, or own a home adapted to specialized needs, Hope For The Warriors® honors the goals and desires of wounded service members and their families.
