Jon Paul & Associates and Calvin Center Initiate New Charity Campaign in Georgia Providing Hope for Children and Adults with Developmental and Learning Disabilities
Newnan, GA (PRWEB) May 12, 2015 -- With a new community program in the Georgia area, Jon Paul & Associates has teamed up with Calvin Center and announced a new charity campaign to raise awareness and funds supporting the center’s Therapeutic Horse Riding Program. Jon Paul & Associates is starting this campaign to help the center continue providing hope, self-improvement and confidence to children and adults with developmental, physical and learning disabilities. The Calvin Center opened its property in 1960 for two weeks of summer camp. Today placed on 548 acres in beautiful rural Georgia, Calvin Center is a year-round conferencing center offering many programs like the Therapeutic Horse Riding program. Physically, students of the program benefit from gross and fine motor movements. Socially, riding improves self-esteem and builds confidence. Academically and cognitively, interaction with the horse and instructor helps a rider to follow directions, develop planning sequencing skills and extend their attention span. Lessons at the Calvin Center are tailored to the individual goals of each student’s IEP’s and therapy plans.
Utilizing its own resources and seeking the help of its own network of customers and business partners, Jon Paul & Associates marches on to ensure customers, friends, family and neighbors are always in good hands. The agency just recently launched the master charity program, of which the current campaign is part of, electing every 60 days a new individual, organization or family in need to receive support.
“I’m fully aware of the great benefits that horse therapy could have on individuals. Therefore, it was important that we brought attention to it through our agency’s community program. There are many children and adults who could benefit from the Calvin Center’s program, but not even knowing that it existed,” said Jon Paul, the Agency’s principal.
The agency will promote the current campaign over the course of the next 45 days, through its social media channels, email and text message communications, as well as through a monthly magazine, delivered to thousands of households in Georgia, where the agency currently operates.
